Konaba (corner bar) brought a slice of Tokyo’s bar culture to Amsterdam via London and Sydney in the form of a laid back izakaya / listening bar.

Chef Alex Haupt surprised us with new donburi toppings and misozuke appetisers every week as part of his own brand of Gaijin Cuisine, best described as a style of cooking deeply rooted in Japanese cuisine with a respectful disregard for the rules of regular convention.
